I'm a Republican so you would guess that I would be against gay marriage. Problem is that I think that the government controls enough things. I think a few things need to be dropped. Reduce the size of the government and stop wasting time and money on issues that do not affect the security and stability of our nation. I'm not saying that gay marriage in a non-issue, but I think it is an issue that the government has no business trying to control. There should be no votes because there should be no law about it.

Dude I know exactly what you mean. I don't like to support any one party, I think it should be about the candidates, but I am 100% for small government.

So the government should just take away benefits for all married couples and you can marry whatever legal adult you want. Sounds good to me.

So then you're saying it is a non-issue, politically. I would agree to that. As long as all (note I didn't say both because I'm totally down with polygamy) parties consent than it is nobody else's business.

Honestly, I don't think ANYONE should be gloating.

I have friends who are hardcore Republicans and they're all upset and they bash Obama.

Why bash anyone?

He's probably going to be your President for the next four years.
