I understand making a joke, but it's these kinds of reasonings that make a lot of people hate liberals. "When we do it it's fine, but since Obama is black, it would be racist and wrong." Yes, because of historic connotations and America's history with slavery, it may be considered a racist commentary if an effigy of Obama was seen hanging from a noose on someone's porch. That does not however, give Obama supporters the right to display such a huge amount of hate and ill will (even if just a joke) and then express indignation at the mere thought of the same being applied to their candidate. Go figure the retards come from hollywood. All aside, if you're going to do it, don't hide behind the cop-out that it's halloween and supposed to be scary. If it was for halloween, it would have been an anonymous figure hanging from that noose, not the republican VP candidate. If you're going to be that dumb, at least have the balls to own up to why you did it.

Family Guy is created and produced by Seth McFarlane, he's very liberal and exclusively democrat. Foxnews is the most right leaning new network, but does not in terms of voting records lean as far right as CNN and MSNBC lean left. They are all skewed without question. The Foxnews is evil thing is just an easy target because they get the highest ratings.

It's newsworthy for fox because they're hanging a Palin manequin. The problem I have with it is that they were adamant that Palin was fair game, and yet Obama couldnt be subjected to any kind of the same ridicule because of the race issue. Like I said, make a statement, do what you will with your own property, but don't hide behind a double standard like they are.
