As to your "reasoning" about why the FACT that al-queda is now prevalent in the country is unreasonable, I'm not even going to bother with it. In fact, unless JayJamJah or someone else on the other side of the debate would like me to present some sources, I'm not even going to waste my time with it.

It's not my problem that you're too ignorant of your own country's foreign policy to even talk about it without everyone needing to hand feed you.

JJ, I've always admired your cynicism.
I feel like you're level-headed about a great many things and it really pains me to try to argue with you, but I have to admit I feel disappointed by your conviction on this topic. I know you're conservative and I have nothing against that, but there comes a time when you need to recognize what constitutes a warranted war. I don't enjoy political debate, especially ire-inducing and long-winded arguments like this, so I'm not going to tender details, but this sure represents a divergence from your sensible personality. I won't be able to change your beliefs anyways, no matter how hard I yell. The war in Iraq was just never something that I could endorse. To Wendy: I've been against the war in Iraq since day one (yeah, I was that awesome in eighth grade) and I am consistently disappointed by the contrived endorsement of war by those that propose to be deeply religious. Using religion to condone actions which result in thousands of deaths is hypocrisy, no matter what reason you offer or how you look at it.

Try, the first time. Oh, yeah, i know i'm going to trust your take on our foreign policy... Jibber, anything that you say that is utter nonsense ~ 'Oh, al-Queda didn't even LIVE there until the US attacked" ~ that you get called on, you just can't be bothered with. What a freakin' shock. |

But, hey! If it turns you on to think that i might 'suck out the bullet' from a gun ~ it's your fantasy! Meanwhile, i think i'll just kick back for a few and suck something a LOT less mind-damaging than a gun/bullet. Last edited by WendyCal; 11-03-2008 at 12:21 PM. |
