The whole "experience" argument really does bother me.
McCain's saying how he's the better candidate because he has more experience and whatnot.
I'm not sure how that experience is good when all the years he spent in Senate and whatnot, the economy was leading to what it is today.
That means he was apart of all the ****tiness that we're in.

Hey, Sleepy Jack ~ in case you haven't noticed, the economy is falling at the SAME RATE Obama's popularity is growing, so we'll be at our MOST VULNERABLE if this joker gets elected.

Eggman? When you're a senator/congress(wo)man, there is only so much you actually can do, especially if both houses are weighed to one side and you're on the other...

Have y'all ever heard of The Manchurian Candidate? (Has it been made into a movie?...). If a perfectly sane, well-respected author can come up with a plan like this, it doesn't really take much of a stretch to KNOW that it could happen in real life.

Get the fuck out there and look at both sides before you come in here telling everyone that they are the morons, because to tell you the truth, when you do that, it just makes YOU look like an asshole...

Folks, we've got big problems, and we are going to need to be informed, and what if this is all just a "Test Of The Emergency Broadcasting System" ~ if Obama wins, main-stream media has pretty much put paid to ANY independent news sources (they've already got you scoffing at WHATEVER any other source has to say). Then what? Yeah. Why burn books when you can control every word that is written in them? Where we can fight "book burning," we have NO DEFENSE against the latter.

(Yes, that's extreme, but tell me honestly that you couldn't ever see a scenario like that happening?)

Yeah, yeah, i know ~ i'm just some sort of [ * YOUR choice about filling in this blank ~ for now...].

Crap.

If you're so worried about experience, then how in the hell can you support Palin? Her ONLY experience has been as governor of a Alaska for two years, a state with a population less than most major cities. Before that, she was mayor of Wasilla. That's it. Obama on the other hand has been the Illinois senator for four years and is a former state legislator. Palin didnt even have a freakin passport until last year. When talking of the economic crisis she either spouts out a canned response with the word "maverick" in it, or goes off on a long, winding, totally nonsensical rant that ends in an embarrassed silence.

First of all, I sincerely hope that I'm interpreting your post wrong, and that you dont actually mean that the economic crisis is in some way being caused by obama's rise in popularity.

Secondly, I wont even get into the reasons why you dislike obama, because you have none that are even remotely legitimate.

Thirdly, your reference to the Manchurian candidate is laughable. I wont even begin to touch on the idiocy of basing your concerns about a candidate on a hollywood plot.

Then you went off on a vague rant about media and book burning. I will agree with you on one point (shocking I know) is that american "media" is getting to be a joke. CNN dumbs everything down to a point where it's not even useful news, they often focus on non-issues, and there are only a few anchors (anderson cooper is one of them) whom I can listen to without feeling utter contempt.

Fox "news" is probably the worst of them all, they focus more on non-issues than CNN, and still have the nerve to call themselves a news program when it's been degraded to a republican political forum.

MSNBC has some redeeming qualities, Chris Matthews is still respectable, but Kieth Olbermann, who is at times right on with his observations, is just as biased towards the democratic party as fox is to the republican party. Everyone knows that I support Obama, but when it comes to journalism, there is no room for ANY preference whatsoever. Most of these american television "journalists" are no more than TV personalities with political shows masquerading as news programs. Which is very unfortunate, because there are a lot of people who are too undiscerning as to sort out which information is a biased attack on one candidate or an endorsement for another. Good information is out there however, most news publications are still good at being unbiased.

However, my understanding is that instead of going to TV for your information, you've turned to propaganda spewing websites feeding you lies about Obama being a terrorist, a muslim extremist, a communist, or probably in some weird alternate universe, all three.

You say your an undecided, and yet you have yet to offer any reasons why you're "undecided" about McCain. I'd be very interested to know why you haven't yet found HIM to be a suitable candidate.

i am so sorry, but i am just FED UP with your SHIT ~

First ~ You have a bad habit of trying to logically extropolate something someone has said into something else, which IS possible, but you don't seem to have any idea of how to construct a logical conclussion.

First ~ A) You have missed the whole point, again. i'm not even on about Obama ~ you've brought that can of worms up again. Gee, wonder where Sleepy Jack is? Thought he was going to delete any posts that addressed Obama's LACK OF QUALIFICATION to even APPLY for the job of prez? Oh! Just mine! That's right! How foolish of me!

Second ~ You have no eartly idea what my views on Obama are. For me, until he is vetted and approved, it's sort of a waste of my time to do any in-depth consideration of his policies.

Third ~ Refer back to First ~ A

Okay, that's as far as i've gotten, for now, but i'm mowing and gardening today, so i'll be back.

Unless, of course, you can convince Sleepy Jack that i need to be banned for this sort of behavior...

Crap.

That sounds like you're on Obama to me.

This is why I said in my post, "I hope I misinterpreted your post," because I knew there was a good chance I did misinterpret your post. This would be the point in which you explain your comment rationally instead of jumping on me for making a rational observation.

Also, I think it's a bit rich being criticized for not being able to construct a logical conclusion from someone who evidently thinks the presidential candidates are props for a secret terrorist or communist faction.

Now that I've completely dismissed your rants, care to tell me why you haven't yet decided to vote for McCain?

Do you honestly not understand the diff between a fact and a conclussion? i stated the fact ~ YOU jumped to the conclusion.

Jibber-jabber? (Sorry, but i will forever think of you with this screen name)You are so full of shit that i just, well, it isn't worth my effort to either fight with you or try to get you to just open your mind a little (and that is what i've been trying to do), so, well, good luck with all that.

Lol, Obama has no control over the economy whatsoever. I know Presidental Nominees get some special treatment (for instance McCain, Biden, and Obama all contacted regarding the Iraqi Security Agreement) but at the end of the day both of them are still Senators and they only have the power a Senator has. Suggesting one is to blame for the economic crisis is just the epitome of idiotic because Senator Obama had no hand to play in it whatsoever. Unless you want to blame all other hundred senators for it as well. Which would be ridiculous.

Secondly I said I'd delete your posts specifically about the birth certificate thing because it was nothing more than ring-wing propaganda and had no place in any intelligent discussion. But to be fair all your posts are proving to be nothing more than right-wing propaganda.

Obama has been vetted by an electorate where as Sarah Palin has not. So to everyone bitching about his inexperience shut up. If you're voting purely on experience you really need to read a book or something and in addition to that this man has proven to be much more organized than Senator McCain. He's been running a complete joke of a campaign, he made a comically bad choice when it came to his running mate, his campaign is falling apart and resorting to scaremongering and when you compare that to Obama who's run an incredible campaign. He's had to deal with some incredibly ludicrous racially tinged attacks, he beat the CLINTONS. In 2006 people were already saying Hillary had it in the bag, he's winning suppors in progressive white states and he did all this without being in the Senate for 30 years? That's impressive, this is his first ever election and he's running it better than anyone I've seen. Even Gore didn't have shit on him. So please for the love of god stop looking at years and start looking at policies. There's an argument to be made about experience sure but this man can't even run a campaign do you think he can run a country?

Oh and WendyCal, Jibber doesn't need to open her mind, you just need to shut the fuck up and keep your bullshit to yourself.

Good Grief! You don't even GET that what i was talking about was that OTHER COUNTRIES are getting REAL WORRIED about the monies we owe them, and the closer THEY think we are to electing Obama, the MORE worried they are???

Oh, Hey!

It wasn't reported on ABC, CBS, NBC???

Go figure.

UP you, back, Jack!

Why don't for once you source something to back up your moronic claims?
