I feel disappointed that McCain and Obama have pretty much the same foreign policy. I guess I never paid attention to their platforms before.
Guess I'm voting for Ron Paul. =/

I liked Ron Paul. Apparently Troy does too, there are signs for him posted everywhere.
I really liked Mike Gravel though. I think it's ashame his campaign wasn't funded nearly enough & that he was so underrated and basically unacknowledged. |

like the bubble the dems (namely FDR) created when Fannie Mae was created then, in '68, another dem, LBJ, privatized Fannie Mae and in '99 yet another dem, clinton, encouraged loosening the requirements for a FM loan, to the point that people could just outright lie on their applications and the sellers would help you do it seems to me that bush just got fed up with the cry-babies, said "Fuck you very much" and completely dropped the anti-predatory lending rules which was what the dems wanted so that everyone could own a house whether they could afford it or not Quote:
i have no intention of trying to change your opinion/decision its just that history has a bad habit of repeating itself if you can't see where it all went wrong the first time |

Proof that the primaries tend to select one of the most mediocre candidates: the Dems had both Gravel and Edwards contesting for the nomination. We wound up with a game show contest between Hillary and Barrack. Ouch.
