Not the actual crash ~ what's going on BECAUSE of it. The behind-the-scenes moving and shaking that is going on.

i full well admit ~ it could be happening if McCain were leading.

But, he isn't. Obama IS.

And the world is very concerned.

SO concerned that, as Obama rises in popularity, they are reacting, which affects our stock market AND our economy.

i mean, for real ~ IS it that hard of a concept to understand?

That isn't to make you feel bad ~ i don't have the vaguest idea about, well, music and the categories and genres and sub-genres. We ALL have areas that we could use some improvement in!

But anyway ~ i don't want to be confrontational. i just want you to open your eyes. The man you think hung the moon, didn't. Neither did the other candidate. Start education yourself, and make a decision/choice that can speak to the larger pic. i know you're concerned about the future ~ for canada and the u.s., but you really need to go back a bit, get some history and time-lines that you can look at (you seem to be a cognitive thinker) and go from there.

Attacking folks on forums is so ~

what is the word i'm looking for???
Alright. You apparently don't want to be confrontational, but I certainly do.

I have a very good idea of what a logical argument consists of. A logical argument involves presenting your opinion in a sequential, articulate manner, and then providing facts with which to back up your opinions. Every single argument I have presented has been done in such a way. You have yet to give one single example of fact to support your arguments. The only thing that could be called "fact" is your observations that Obama is gaining in popularity, and that the economy is crashing. The rest of your so called arguments have been a mish-mash of propagandist slogans, lies that have already been refuted by every major news publication in the country, and a mix of your own insane "logic" that seems to have been derived on another planet, because there is certainly nothing happening on THIS one that would back up any of the **** that has come out of your mouth.

YOU attacking ME on the grounds of being uninformed is so incredibly ridiculous I hardly know where to begin. You have said repeatedly that the ONLY source of your information comes from internet blogs like the one you posted. Those are not a credible source of information. That blog, as ethan said, was written by a very outspoken right-wing who is using her website to promote nothing but her own ideas. That is NOT unbiased. Unbiased is a newspaper that reports the facts, and gives no information other than what was said and what was done. Journalists report only the facts, compile them into a concise story, and print them to let the public do what they please. The ****e you read isn't journalism. It isn't fact. And that garbage is not worth my time to read as I have more credible sources of information, such as the BBC, NY Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Calgary Herald, National Post, as well as watching MSNBC, CBC and local news stations.

I get the facts from credible news sources and base my opinions off of them. I do not however spout bull**** from propagandist crap piles and pick absurd conclusions out of thin air as you have been doing. You said yourself you have no real idea of each of the candidates platforms. I have watched every single debate and formed my opinion of the candidates largely from what they themselves have said about what their policies are, what measures they will take if elected, and what they view as the important issues.

Lastly, I defy you to find a SINGLE person on this board who has watched this debate progress that does not believe me to be infinitely more well informed, intelligent, and articulate than you have proven to be.

Shut the f*ck up. Go back to guzzling alcohol and smoking weed. Leave the economic and political discussions for people who have an informed base from which to talk about the subjects, and for CHRIST'S sake stop putting those f*cking laughing smilies after every god damn post.

*sigh* as backhanded compliments go I guess I'll take that one. However, for the vast majority of THIS thread, every argument I've made regarding the US election or the economic crisis have been very logical and backed up by fact. Whatever disagreements we have had in the past, I'm sure you can at least see that.

Care to elaborate on that or will we all have to be content to think you as much an uninformed crackpot as we do now?
sSince i've used it 'correctly' before, and i've admitted to drinking and smoking up, i,

well, at this point, it would appear that i can't even talk to you, like one human being to another

So you admit that it could also happen if McCain were in the lead. Doesn't that sort of defeat your own point? Not to mention you still haven't provided any proof that any of the crash reaction is in part due to Obama. In fact, you haven't even provided evidence for any massively negative reaction to Obama from other countries.

I don't understand why I need to show you what I read considering I've cited sites disproving your claims and bolstering mine plenty of times but anyway when I'm on the internet I read the BBC and the New York Times. As far as papers go it's two local papers (The Seattle Times and the Stranger) and I watch pretty much most of the news organizations on TV except Fox which I do watch I just don't take anything I see on it very seriously. Same with CNN actually.
Oh! Well, pardon me all to hell and gone!

So.

All the stuff she says about McCain is just more Rah-Rah-Sis-Boom-Bah?

Gee. Wonder which side you checked out...

Because until you can post up some unbiased sites that you go to, AND READ

you are just one of the sheep, following wherever the 'news' wants to lead you.

And that's really sad to me. There is a much bigger problem on our horizon, and if basically intelligent people like you can just be lead down some sort of primrose path, it scares the shit out of people like me.

You know what?

Y'all are so closed-minded that,

idk

Good luck with that.

Awwww. Isn't that sweet? Care to post your transcripts? If you will, i will.

No?

Awwww. Then STFU.

i can prove that i can think.

And Jibber-jabber? The canadian? (Oh, for SURE i'm going to believe everything SHE says about american politics!) How's about letting us see some of your transcripts.

That's what i thought.

Fuck y'all.

PUT UP

OR SHUT UP

about who's intelligence should be suspect.

I have no clue what sort of standard you have, but news sources seem like a pretty good place to start.

Wasn't your previous point that others outside of the U.S. were a good sign of U.S. politics, including their worry about economy? Doesn't it seem hypocrital to now use her Canadian residency as an argument against her? I think so.

McCain-Palin and Obama-Biden both suck, neither has any clue what it takes to fix our country. The economy crisis we are currently in is likely the result of poor planning by the Clinton Administration in its final months. Additionally, George W. Bush added on to the crisis with poor spending habbits, specifically, the war in Iraq. Conversation Over.
