I think it's ridiculous but not only ridiculous it's flat out scaremongering. I think it shows the McCain campaign is getting very desperate. Ayers is a fucking college professor now and there's no evidence him and Obama had some secret muslim terrorist relationship going on. In fact if you look at how they were involved with each other they were doing nothing but trying to serve their state. Though republicans seem to spit upon community service now so maybe to them that is terrorism.

I think you take it to far, drawing too many conclusions.

Of course it's ridiculous and desperate but nothing more. Political campaigning comes from a very myopic perspective. The presumption is people are super loyal or super stupid\naive, it's depressing at best.

That comment about community service being terrorism was a joke but did you see how Palin, Giuliani, Romney and all those cunts trashed it at the convention? Sickening. I still do think its scaremongering, they're playing into this terrorism fear that's been shoved down our throats since 9/11 that seems to dominate most Americans lives.

Honestly, sometimes I think we should just split the country...I know it's not thought through at all, but there is a ridiculous separation in American politics right now...it's scary. At least make 3 presidents for the East Coast + Great Lakes, West coast, and the middle states. Wouldn't it work so much better?

I mean, we would need to write up a new constitution, but ours is too easy on the rich and we could really do a lot of good if we changed it imo.
