McCain thinks even submitting a timeline for how long we'll be in Iraq is admitting defeat. McCain has also been dead wrong on everything about Iraq, Senator Obama hasn't. He was against Iraq in the start and I don't care if the surge worked or not. Do you realize if we hadn't gone into Iraq and wasted all that money we could be putting it towards Manhattan projects for alternative energy, rebuilding roads and given everyone healthcare? It would be entirely plausible with the amount of money we've pumped into a bullshit war. McCain wants to rape the continental shelf. Their energy plan is this: "Drill baby drill!" and they don't think oil is the cause of global warming, in fact they don't think its man-made at all. Do you want someone who doesn't care about alternative energy in the slightest and is incredibly stupid about environmental issues to be in charge of this country? Does that sound like a good policy to you? McCain thinks we need to retry Bush's failed plan to privatize social security, McCain is for the patriot act, McCain is for no child left behind. I don't understand how you can treat it like this man is so good and Obama is so bad. Obama actually thinks about the little guy when it comes to the economy and taxation, McCain just wants to continue the "let's help the rich upper class!" policies of the Bush administration. I don't think Obama's policies are always the best ever (I'm completely against nuclear energy for instance) but he's way way ahead ahead of McCain on everything from healthcare to gun control. |

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that. |

So I guess the McCain campaign is saying the committee report finding Palin guilty of power abuse was a "partisan inquiry led by Obama supporters." Which is funny considering the committee had twice as many republicans as democrats.

what a shock
that verdict was to be postponed until after the election but the repubs just don't get any breaks although CNN is starting to wonder about obama now (i overheard a little blurb about this so don't expect refs lol) why won't he provide a copy of his last complete physical? it would HELP his campaign since most people don't think mccain is going to make it but its another one of those completely illogical things he keeps doing and i'm sorry but it's just WEIRD |

What are you talking about? He released a complete medical report awhile ago and it was open to the public (you can probably still find it) he was completely healthy. Contrast that with McCain who released his record for a set amount of time behind closed doors to a select amount of press members. It was also several hundred pages. And the republicans don't get any breaks? Why should someone who is guilty of power abuse be given a break until AFTER she could possibly be elected? That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. Everyone should be glad this report came out and people should've been demanding it be taken care of as soon as the allegations were made public.
