Ever since I was at an age where I could actually think it through, I haven't believed. By the logic that goes through my mind, and by outstanding evidence, it seems unlikely enough to discount. I'm not saying we can prove without a doubt that there is no god, but the evidence certainly points in that direction.

Yea... I know a few atheists and agnostics, and they are much kinder than the majority of the Christians that I know. Not to say Christians aren't kind, but I find that most people who do not believe in God or are unsure of him are more thoughtful than those who do believe in God. I don't think sitting in a pew every Sunday is going to make you a better person than those who don't. I think it's up to the person his or herself. Many psychologists have done a study saying that humans are innately born with a moral code, so why do we require a religion to have one? Of course, maybe I'm just generalizing people... the Psychology of Religion in the APA has also stated that having a religion leads to a healthy lifestyle and benefits the person both mentally and physically.

That could be, and this is quite a generalization, because atheists and agnostics tend to think more; think for themselves, think outside the box, which can lead to being more thoughtful to others. This does not apply to a lot of atheists, though.

Hmm... My experience (maybe that's a dutch thing though) is that people who have a strong belief for some god usually have a lot of awful stuff to hide. They hide behind their religion. This, ofcourse, is generalization too. I know at least one person who is religious who is just a brilliant guy.

![]() Time to start thinking for yourself. Time to become yourself! Yes and... Well I tried as I always was convinced I hated soccer. Now I hate it even more. So yeah, sort of, why?
