This is an interesting statement. How are you defining our (as in human) free will and what aspect of it do other animals lack?

While we could go on discussing what you believe to be racism I know your views are not likely to change and if you want to hold those views then so be it.
If you want to back it up with science then so be it.
But anyone who is half decent will know that people who carry hate have alot to answer for in our world and are usually the ones who deny it when held to account.

How is self awareness required for free will? You can process thought without awareness.

My cat licks her fur and scratches herself. That's pretty self aware. Maybe they don't get what mirror is, before I was born my parents had three kittens (moe, larry, and curly) and they have an old video of them attacking/playing with a mirror or each other because they see themselves and their siblings in the mirror.
