No the term day as well as year are translated to be the equivalent of modern measurements. The original translation uses terminology that translates to sunset, so obviously that's a day. The Bible is of course completely fictional, there is of course NO GOD, or that is to say all religions are wrong. Could there be a superior being of course, was Jesus his son, of course not, are religious people liars, of course.

Religious nuts have tried to interpret their way out of the bibles horrible historical inaccuracies and it's awful sexist, hateful and homophobic passages, but in the end it is what it is, a fictional book written by a bunch of narcissistic sociopaths who lived in a cruel, barbaric and ****ed up world. End of story.

Except the bible isn't the final word on anything. It was God's word interpreted by men, and I don't think the people that assembled the bible can be trusted to tell everything accurately, as they most likely missed and exaggerated many things.

I don't think "natural" is the word you're looking for. Natural means occuring within nature. Homosexuality most definitely occurs in nature. It isn't artificial. It isn't like the TV transmits ***waves to warp the mind, or like doctors are diabolically implanting homo chips into the brains of new borns. Therefore this leads us to conclude it is either natural or super natural. However, since super natural events don't ever occur (because if it occurs it becomes natural or is the result of artificial advancements) we must conclude that it is natural. That combined that we know why homosexuality occurs makes your argument pretty damn stupid. Its just a genetic trait.

Of course homosexuality is natural, just as infertility is natural, not everyone is meant to reproduce nor required to for purposes of the species carrying on. That's a retarded religious talking point.

You can only be against homosexuality if your are an ignorant and\or self centered person. It does not effect you and it's none of your business.

I'd consider this discussion pretty relevant to the upcoming election considering Sarah Palin feels creationism should be taught in school, the Iraq is a holy war, abortion isn't the answer in any case (including rape and incest) and she's anti-gay.

So if you believe in seperation of church and state how can you turn around and say homosexuality is abnormal and say you only believe this because your creator (not our creator) says so?
