Michael Ian Black just gave a welcome speech at my school. Apparently it was hilarious, but I didn't go.
Palin is a terrible choice. I highly doubt choosing her is going to give McCain any large bump in the polls, even with 1 in 5 Clinton supporters supposedly voting McCain. Especially not after the Democrats' just had what's basically the best convention anyone could have hoped for. |

It's not the cause, but it's one of them. The main two parties are both subject to the whims of large corporations, if there were third, forth, fifth and so on parties then such a thing would be impossible, or at least less extreme.
