I'm not actually trying to reopen the discussion and OH was a ****head but I don't like an environment where the most offended group gets to decide what is and is not acceptable to discuss simply because they're emotional about the subject. Especially when two of the people are mods and actually get to summarily do that. I get that OH made the discussion toxic but just tell him to shut the **** up and then count to ten.

Look, I don't ever want to make it seem like what I am offended by is off limits. That wasn't what my statement was about. Open discussion regardless of what side of the argument I'm on is encouraged but there is a line that can be crossed. The discussion that was forming crossed that line. We didn't demand it to end because we disagreed. We ended it because it was completely inappropriate for this forum.
