Why 3 far-right activists were refused entry to the UK - BBC News

Don't know much about Martin Sellner but he seems like a bit of a tool. Regardless, pretty insane that we are banning people because they plan on interviewing somebody and are part of "right wing" organizations. I am not sure how much truth there is to the claim that Martin had scenarios regarding possible violence in his speech.

I think it's fair to say that it's time to worry when the government start banning people because of their political and social opinions. Even if we don't have free speech in the UK, It would be nice to think that pretty tame views such as those espoused by Lauren, Britanny and Martin weren't seen as such a threat to the public good that they end up literally detained, questioned and deported/refused entry.

They are pretty lame I agree (Lauren isn't so bad, she's a troll who doesn't seem to have figured out her actual beliefs yet). But banning them from entering because essentially they don't like what Islamism is doing and could lead to...? Seems a bit draconian.

Many other speakers have been allowed into the country with even more extreme views, but these ones just so happened to be on the right and dislike Islam. So they weren't allowed.
