I'm back on the ticket if you'll have me.

How anyone feels about discrimination is irrelevant. People should have the right, regardless. As long as they are not physically harming someone else.

Yes, it is.

Here's a surface level observation for you: the right to infringe on other people's rights? How do ya wrap your head around that one?

Just because they don't appreciate that discrimination, they think that their lifestyle is in danger of being taken away.
Talk about a slippery slope. If we allow people the right to create second class citizens for pointless reasons out of someone's control, they can take that to the point of deciding that they don't deserve to live. You know what they say, give them implicit oppression and they'll take a genocide.

Especially then. Come on, what's free expression if you can't get away with a little death by starvation. That's maximum freedom right there.

It's not infringement. If you don't like me, should I petition the government to force you to bake me a cake against your will? The baker would be the one whose rights are being infringed upon.

Like children not being able to vote or drive or buy cigarettes or alcohol? I'm not advocating for this, but they are being discriminated against because of their age, which is out of their control.

I don’t think there should be age requirements for this stuff.

This book gives an interesting perspective.

If I'm selling cakes to people as a business, then yes I have to sell you a cake if you're a reasonable paying customer who happened to be in my store whilst gay. You want to bitch about infringement from the government? That's nothing compared to the atrocities that can be committed against minorities if we "let the market balance itself out." People's tendency to be idiots is the reason that the government came into the picture in the first place.

I can show you some very well established research on the difference between a child an adult's mind if you like. Did you check out that false equivalency link btw?
