I'm betting this was self-inflicted in the half-baked hopes of some lawsuit payoff.
I've seen this type of stunt reported in the news several times over many years.

What was even worse, for me personally, was the day she was in labour and every time I walked past the TV that has Sky News on continously throughout the day to the headline BREAKING NEWS: Kate Middleton in Labour, which was tagged with 'Royal baby has yet to be born' or something to a similar effect.

Great, so every couple of hours Sky News is reminding me that her baby hasn't been born? Well, hold the ****ing presses.
Ugh, that must've been so annoying! The hype over here in Oz was unbelievable, I can't even begin to imagine how tiring it would be hearing about it constantly in the UK! Yipes!

Having said that though, I have a total ladycrush on Kate Middleton.

My mate once told me that someone he knows used to go out with/once hooked up with Kate Middleton. It may sound like an outrageous lie but this story was first told merely days after they met and she found herself the focus of the media. She also does have family from up this way, so although I can't be sure it is true it is far more probable than it may first appear to be.

Anyway, after hearing his stories I can't quite look at her royal status the same way

That's so funny! And I also think it's pretty believable, wasn't she pretty wild in her university days? I remember she did like a college fashion show in a see-through dress...

Anyway, regardless of the hype and ridiculousness of it all, I like her! Despite stealing my dream of marrying one of the princes...

I don't really know if she was ever "wild" or not, and even if this lads stories are true it doesn't necessarily make her wild. He may claim they were an item, I'm not sure, and if they were he's basically just telling anyone who will listen the details of their sex life cause he wants people to know he ****ed a dutchess.

And he spared no details.

I posted a story similar to this but that one was fake it turned out but this one is sooooo real!

Quote:
ST. LOUIS — An Illinois businessman outraged by a court order that he return more than $500,000 in insurance money related to a 2001 wreck that killed his teenage son wanted to pay the money back in pennies in protest. But he soon recognized that was unfeasible.

So, Roger Herrin settled on quarters — four tons of them.

Packed in 150 transparent sacks each weighing about 50 pounds, the $150,000 in coins were nearly one-third of the money an appellate court required Herrin to pay back to resolve years-long legal feuding among the crash's survivors over how $800,000 in insurance proceeds were apportioned.
In protest, man repays insurance money with 4 tons of coins - U.S. News
