This is why I think social media should be considered lawfully private by employers. People put stupid **** on there all the time and shouldn't feel like they're being spied upon, cause businesses straight up will spy upon you. They're basically strangers and shouldn't have access to what you do on your private time the same way stalkers shouldn't.

She decided to out herself as the cyclist, the company honcho's decided her actions were inappropriate and she was an embarrassment to the organization, so they fired her.

Totally believable news story.

I'd be fired from my job if I was foolish enough to do the same thing.

Well if ESPN can fire you for being, um, outrageous (Curt Schilling comes to mind), I guess Akima can fire someone for being too liberal or whatever. It does give them something of a black eye though.
