(CNN) -- A Kentucky mother stepped outside of her home just for a few minutes, but it was long enough for her 5-year-old son to accidentally shoot and kill his 2-year-old sister with the .22-caliber rifle he got for his birthday, state officials said.

What sort of moronic ****:

- Buys a 5 year old a ****ing gun for it's birthday

- Leaves said 5 year old alone with said gun, and whilst also in the presence of a 2 year old

It gets worse:

I don't get it. What parent is stupid enough to allow their child to have a gun? I don't even like those cheap toy guns you get at dollar stores because it gives children the impression that guns are toys to be played with willy-nilly. There is a responsibility that comes with gun ownership and in my honest opinion, they shouldn't be readily available to people under 18 at the very least.

Yeah, I know haha. My mom knows someone who lives in Ashland and this woman posted on Facebook that she doesn't see anything wrong with this. I was just like, "WTF LADY????"

Police: Hooker pepper-sprays 14-year-old, steals piggy-bank - CBS News

A teenage boy who used an iPad to arrange a meeting with an alleged prostitute ended up with a different experience than he'd intended.

The boy, 14, from the Chicago suburb Prospect Heights, set up the intended encounter using a website for sexual liaisons, police say.

CBS Chicago reports when the woman arrived at the teenager's home Wednesday, she allegedly sprayed him with pepper spray, stole the iPad, a piggy-bank and a jar full of money.

Police were able to track the suspect when she later used the iPad.
