CIV of Gorilla Biscuits Lambasted for Commenting on Black Lives Matter and Taken Out of Context

I'm pretty ****in heated about this. This comment sums it up nicely.

What CIV said was pretty tone deaf, but I've been a GB fan for 25 years and I think his heart is in the right place. That Facebook comment is pretty silly though, and sounds like someone with a really lame chip on their shoulder.

I think CIV could've phrased it a little better but I do respect what he said regardless. I just agree that people are a little too quick to jump to conclusions with this ****.

It certainly sounds like the "All lives matter" ****, but I think it's slightly different. Basically that he's saying why the **** don't all lives matter yet? He just wasn't careful enough to separate his point from the points of others.

Or maybe he's just an All Lives Matter kinda guy. I don't know Gorilla Biscuits or there philosophy well at all, so whatevs. Taking this opportunity to give the band another chance though. Never could get into them but I intend to beat my head against a wall, either until I finally get them or I get cerebral hemorrhaging.

You can be heated all you want about that but fuck that guy and everyone else that mimics "All Lives Matter".

You get the privilege of being upset at a comment that you don't even fully understand.

Also that stupid facebook comment is way off the mark. So the **** what that he's been positive over the years. He can still be ignorant to the current situation which he is. In an ideal world, yes all lives matter but they don't currently so stfu.
