California has places that are quaint and friendly too. They also have the bonus of being beautiful and having amazing weather.

Well, not to say their aren't other places. But every experience in California (which is a lot mind you) has been horrid.

The taxes are ridiculously high so everything costs an arm and a leg. Their squatters law or whatever it's called is just problematic. Conversations with the women, they just act like I'm trying to **** them. "Lady, I'm here on business. I won't be here long enough to have a chance to get in your pants. Unless you're that easy..." Then my business is barely able to make money cause the amount we have to give to their government.

I don't know, about half of the Midwesterners I've met were openly racist assholes. Decent small talkers though I guess.

California's pretty big so we have a smorgasbord of weather and personalities.

EDIT: oh you're tax boo hooing? It's not that bad. The lady complaint might be because you come off as creepy but I'm not sure. I haven't shared that particular experience.
