He served his genitals to six guests? And he's Japanese? I'll bet that must have been a filling meal.

what's more troubling is:-

"there is no law against cannibalism in Japan."

Why's that troubling? Murder is illegal, and I imagine desecrating corpses is also illegal, so all you're left with is weird little isolated incidents like these, and if he really wants to do that then more power to him.

to know that's people consensually eating each other in Japan

Wow, I know the Japanese culture is known for perverted art. But... Wow. So I'm guessing he was planning the idea for a while considering he's asexual?

Wonder if he would have been done for indecent exposure if he's dressed them in cabbage?

Rjinn 09-21-2012 10:57 PM

I would consider that spiking your food.

I'm not sure who I find the most mentally deranged in this story.
The (former) man who wanted and had his genitals removed, the doctor and staff who agreed to perform the surgery or the people who actually ate the cooked genitalia.

In any case...

Wow. Was he teaching at a special needs school or something?
Maybe he should have awarded them .001s

Nope. It's just political correctness run rampant - it's now against the law for a school to fail a child who doesn't do their work without the direct approval of the parent(s).

Apparently the students at his school are disappointed that he was fired since he was one of the few people there to treat them like equals. From what I've read his policy was well known with students and accepted by them, the school board on the other hand.

For all of America's cowboy worship and right wing politics, we love our mindless bureaucracies. I guess it's not surprising for a nation of 300 million people.
