God damn, yeah I think I would have been too young and dumb to pick up on all the bravado masking fragile egos that actually make them all look pathetic.

Joe Pesci did Goodfellas and Home Alone in the same year, that's what you call range.

Joe pesci plays pretty much the same character in casino that he does in Goodfellas. Other than that what the **** else? My cousin Vinny?

Lol now that's just typecasting him based on his looks. Tommy from Goodfellas would've wacked that kid within the first 15 minutes of the movie.

In the context of a children's movie (duh) it's the same character.

I don't remember that movie that well since i saw it as a kid

What are the similarities other than it being Joe pesci playing a criminal? From what i remember the home alone guy wasn't even a mobster he was some bum type petty criminal with a gold tooth.

Not really, like yeah they're both criminals, but in Home Alone he's a low level criminal who is so incompetent he barely poses a threat to anyone, he gets his ass handed to him by an 8 year old.

Meanwhile in Goodfellas he's a murderous psychopath who is scary effective at his job which is whacking people and only gets whacked himself because his hair-trigger temper got him into trouble.

Also one is a PG rated kids movie and the other is an R rated gangster movie so there's a bit of a difference in tone.
