I'm sure McConnell would come up with some reason why it was inappropriate to pick a new judge before the next presidential election and Biden would cave.

even hypothetically if he didn't and Biden got to pick the judge i think it would be yet another step closer to civil war. I was just saying targeting judges is particularly consequential since they are life long appointments. Too bad the guy was a basement dwelling retard that called 9/11 on himself and not a national hero like John Wilkes Booth...

It's off topic, but I wish these guys would come back. They were highly entertaining.
They were a radio duo that would prank call politicians. Some really good calls involved "Dubya" , Sarkozy (former French prime minister), and Sarah Palin. |

Occasionally, they get it right.
News Alert: Supreme Court says states can be sued for discriminating against veterans The Supreme Court said in a 5-4 ruling Wednesday that state agencies are not immune from private lawsuits brought under a federal law meant to protect employment rights of returning veterans. The ruling will strengthen work protections for thousands of state-employed veterans returning to work after service in the Reserves or National Guard. Le Roy Torres, a veteran and former employee of the Texas Department of Public Safety, had said he could no longer serve as a state trooper and sought a comparable job to accommodate his service-related disability. When he was denied the job, he filed suit under federal law but lost in state courts. He appealed the decision to the Supreme Court.
