Those pigs were probably just hassling him because he opposed Trump. They were probably hoping he’d lose it and do a Mel Gibson. If he was under the legal limit according New Jersey state law, then the cops don't have a case against him as far as the DUI charge.

I guess they could still try to get him for drinking alcohol in public and reckless driving, though.

Just saying if youre poor the facts of the case are irrelevant. They force you to plead out with false claims of “disorderly” “resisting” and so on. Your BAC isn’t going to matter when you’re a broke nobody in the county lock up with a public defender who’s going over to the judge’s house for BBQ after the sentencing.

That teacher probably knows more than the public will assume they do. I guarantee the “show your work” bull**** is unevenly applied to black kids who are able to reach the solution while skipping steps. It also reinforces the painfully white and ignorant hypothesis that there’s only one way to skin a cat - the right way which of course is the white way. Plus, the obsession with coming up with the exact number at the end of a math problem instead of demonstrating an ability to understand the process is from what I’ve seen an almost uniquely American way to teach mathematics. They don’t obsess over the final number in Korea or Japan the way American teachers do. And it’s not like American teachers don’t represent a classist white hegemony.

This is a typical case of some dip**** journalist writing about **** they know nothing about and presenting it in a way that makes it look like liberal lunacy.
