Investigation opened after women's symbol put on Polish flag

WARSAW, Poland -- Prosecutors have opened an investigation into whether the Polish flag was publicly insulted after a family in Warsaw hung a flag from their balcony combined with a lightning bolt, a symbol for women's rights in Poland.

Murder suspect escapes prison transport van that stopped at McDonald’s

Taylor, who is wanted for a murder in East Chicago, Indiana, was wearing a belly chain with handcuffs, along with a leg brace when he slipped from the van in the McDonald’s drive-thru, the sheriff’s department said.

The driver of the van tried to catch Taylor after he fled, according to surveillance footage obtained by authorities.

I saw this story this morning. He escaped by just opening the door, not out of a window. He timed it perfectly though and there's no way that inept agent could have caught up to him on foot:

If he's regularly eating Big Macs at work he could probably have rolled after him!

Either that driver was in on it or the prisoner manipulated him into getting him a last meal at McDonald’s that included giving him a key to his chains so he could eat the food. It’s crazy what people can convince other people to do. It may have been he was just thinking he was going to get a BigMac and then when the driver rolled down the window the prisoner heard the child lock switch over. But there’s some reason he was able to get his hands mobile and out of the leg brace.

the driver could def be in on it. It's Chicago and he's in for murder so you know he's probably connected.
