What the blue jumping ****?! Are we TRYING to be seen as a banana republic still? What's left to work out, you ****s? America is delivering the vaccine today, UK have already vaccinated people, and we get ****ing THIS????

Earlier, the chief executive of the Health Service Executive said it still has to work through "a few of the unknowns" regarding the Covid-19 vaccine programme before its report is handed to Government on Tuesday to be considered.

Speaking on RTÉ's This Week, Paul Reid said he is aware "there is a huge desire" to know what happens next.

He said it will be "a while before the vaccine will become our first line of defence" but added it is well mapped out what needs to happen next.

"That report sets out a whole set of areas that we are focused on, so the logistics, the transportation, the security, the sequencing of the population, the identification of the sites where we will be carrying out the vaccinations, the workforce including GPs and pharmacies, the reporting arrangements, the IT system, and the data issues that we are working through so there are a few unknowns we are working through over the next short while," Mr Reid added.

A ****ing WHILE? A ****ING WHILE??? A REPORT to be sent for ****ing CONSIDERATION? You know what that means: nothing will happen before Christmas, which in turn means probably mid-way into January before ANY action is taken. At the earliest. Lousy lazy slow pile of ****bags! Nobody voted them in you know: it was Sinn Fein who got the most seats, but none of the ****ing other parties would work with them, so THEY set up a COALITION that ****ing NOBODY VOTED FOR! Yeah. But our losers aren't even going to do anything till god knows when. They don't seem to be affording it the urgency it needs. What about the people in nursing and care homes who need it now? What about the health workers who are putting their lives in danger treating the sick? Can they wait till after Christmas? At the earliest? I'm not asking them to rush into anything, but they could have some sort of a better timeline for us than "the next short while"!

From RTE (Irish TV) news:

Mr Martin (our taoiseach/prime minister) said that January and February will see a limited volume of vaccines available, but enough for the most vulnerable groups.

The bigger volumes will come in March, April and May as other vaccines come on stream and other vaccine manufacturing ramps up around the world, he said.

He said that people need to be aware that the optimal period for a vaccination programme will be May and June when things open up and that this staged timeline approach depends on the availability and manufacturing of the vaccine.

"We need to see how things play out over the next couple of months in particular… to see exactly what the European Medicines Agency says about these vaccines.

"They haven't been authorised yet and I think it's important that while there has been real speed in getting us to this point" he said.
