He acknowledged that the BLM protestors have a probelm with the police, he didn't acknowledge that he did. He didn't take sides with either the police or BLM, it sounded more that he was simply counterprotesting so that BLM would take their protesting somewhere else.

If he knows the police will be coming down hard on the neighborhood the next day then that sounds like he knows what the police are about.
