Everywhere is golden if you’re rich. You can be as bum**** as you want in the trendiest neighborhood on earth as long as you have money you’ll be made to feel right at home. Money talks.

We even hoard nuclear weapons beyond when it becomes clear that we have enough to destroy the planet. Like, if a country already has enough nuclear weapons to destroy the planet as a deterrence to our enemies then isn't it the definition of pointless to hoard even more nuclear weapons? And so humans are stupid.

Unless theyre all in 1 place it seems pretty reasonable to have more than necessary to blow up the world multiple times.. not saying I agree with even the idea of nukes, but ur logic is uhh...

If you can blow up the world once then how much more of a deterrent is it to have enough to blow it up twice? Everyone's still dead and the country ****ing with you is just as dead either way. It's just dickwaving hoarding. I mean you don't even need to have enough to cause a nuclear winter. North Korea just has the threat that they might have the capability of hitting America's West Coast if they're lucky and it's changed the entire political game for them.

That's not really my point. My point is that one's culture encourages you to remain within that culture.

There’s only two distinct cultures I’ve ever seen are rich and poor.

Well then I no longer believe that you've ever left the five mile radius you were born in.

I got three passports covered in stamps son.

That’s a statement of exaggerated absolute re: culture but there’s a lot of truth that the entire world boils down to who has money and who doesn’t.

We probably agree but we can debate it if you want. I’m not doing anything.

Yeah sure people have way more in common than they realize and a lot of what keeps them apart is assumptions that people from other cultures are somehow toxic and feelings of unease when they encounter cultural differences and are unsure how to interpret them and so they fallback on what is known and comfortable to explain how those cultural differences are wrong. It can take surprisingly little to bridge those gaps, but it's so ****ing easy to stay within your own bubble that it can be a depressingly insurmountable obstacle to just get people or even yourself to even try.

One thing I learned in Korea was that I love Russians. I even loved how racist they were. One time I was drinking in a bar with a group of Russians in Korea and I ordered in Korean and this Russian guy was like why would you lower yourself to speak their disgusting language. I really got a kick out of that because I had never heard anything but praise for learning a foreign language. Those Russians could muck their way through English though. Mostly they said America and Russia are same. America. Russia. Friend. Drink. Drink. Drink. Hey Korean bitch fill glass now. Goddamn were they fun. I saw a few Russians beat the **** out of Koreans but never the reverse.

Sounds like Russians are fun pricks.
