I mean if you told me that I'd get to see a Tyrannosaurus Rex but it would then eat me, there's a part of me that would find that hard to turn down. Sure it would be an unpleasant end but the reward might very well be more magic than I'd ever or would ever experience just in those few seconds.
Hmm, maybe if I got to see it eat something else first.

Being bored just means that you're boring.

Cuts both ways. The more I learn about my fellow man the more pedestrian they seem. But the highlights are still magic. And this is true for the universe in general. Including trees.

If that wasn't part of the deal I'd be pretty pissed. Like, magical dealing-making entity, can't you sweeten this a bit? At least the lawyer from Jurassic Park got to see the thing eat a goat. But even if I turned the deal down I'd always remember that I had the chance and didn't take it.

Generally speaking, two things can be interesting at the same time.

Aren't you like 5+ years too old for this philosophy 101 ****?

There's no way that your cheesy angst over the incredibly common experience of being burned in a toxic relationship is more interesting than aurora borealis.

You can probably find a Canadian escort who uses that name.

I think being unable to look beyond human experience to find interest is like being unable to look beyond your own race to find interest. Like your entire paradigm is just limited and bland.

It's not as different from being a regular ass ape as they make it out imo.

But on a pure level, holy **** ****ing god they're an entire race of dragons of all shapes and sizes that were you able to see them irl would be among the most preposterous, amazing things it would be possible to see. I imagine that extinction events probably destroy the megafauna first and leave the smaller animals alive. Dinosaurs existed for well over a hundred million years and survived two extinction events before finally dying out. Then mammals evolved to holy **** **** levels before, what, one or two extinction level events happened that destroyed much of the biodiversity on the planet and we're kind of living in the early stages of the planet rebuilding our crazy ****ing megafauna? I suspect that if you gave the planet ten million years we'd have yet another set of animals that would put our current set to shame as far as being really ****ing cool.
