^ Joe Brown was the only name on there that I had to look up.

Jeff Beck, Richard Thompson, and Albert Lee are probably my top 3 favorite living guitarists (in that order) and all of them signed that guitar.

^ You did better than me then. Three names I don't recognise: Tony Iommi, Richard Digance and Martin Barre.
Biggest surprise were the two former Beach Boys: I'm guessing they were passing through England at the time?

^ You should put in a bid at the auction then!

^ Yeah, those two names surprised me as well.

I've met Albert Lee a couple of times and he already signed an item of mine, so I've already got one out of the 3. I'm going to see him again in January, so I could bring a guitar with me and get it signed if I wanted to.

I've seen Richard Thompson a couple of times and haven't met him yet but I think there's a pretty good chance of it happening at some point.

I've also seen Jeff Beck a couple of times but, with his star status, the chances of meeting him seem rather slim at best.

If I get crazy lucky on a winning lottery ticket before the auction, I'll definitely put in a bid. Otherwise, that guitar is gonna go waaay out of my price range.

Riot police charge and arrest protesters as they try to get to Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Monday, November 18. The university has been the battleground between police and protesters as violence flared up between the two sides over the weekend.

The president of the Polytechnic University, which has been under siege in Hong Kong, said he has brokered a truce with police.

Teng Jin-Guang said it would allow the hundreds of protesters trapped inside the campus to leave peacefully.

It was the second concerted attempt by students to flee the urban campus, which has been surrounded by police who have repeatedly warned they will use lethal force.

Hong Kong Polytechnic University is one of at least five campuses where students this week barricaded themselves in, blocking roads and collecting makeshift weapons in case of an attack by authorities. Most of the protesters had left the other campuses by Saturday, though a group of hardcore protesters remained at Polytechnic.

If only you'd started earlier, with a bit of persistance, you too would've had a guitar worth a fortune by now.

DARPA, the main research and development arm of the U.S. Department of Defense, is funding researchers to develop wearable devices that would have military applications such as using the mind to control unmanned aerial vehicles or UAVs, commonly known as drones. Instead of using brain implants to achieve this, DARPA is looking for non-invasive to minutely invasive ways of interfacing with the machine. Every day we stray further from God but closer to Doctor Octopus.

Iranians have not had internet access for days. It is a government shutdown prompted by violent protests over rising gas prices. Observers say that in a country where shutdowns and blockages have happened in the past, this one appears to be the most widespread. Michelle Quinn takes a look at how the Iranian government has been able to turn off internet access.
