Define "whataboutism", because you aren't using it correctly. I don't talk about other things as a form of deflection to say "X did it first so we should excuse Y" (Hillary to Trump or whatnot). I make comparisons as illustrations to discuss a larger related point, whether that's about how media organizations approach whatever the subject is, an economic or data-driven angle, whatever.

I don't think that is a passable excuse. Not just for white supremacy but any form of racial supremacy. And yes, when you said that you are defending white supremacy. I'm definitely not against diversifying our country, but I don't think we should have to in order to get over racial biases.

We can do better, but we also live in a world driven by scarcity, massive upheavals in society due to things like automation, etc. Look at what OH said before about the demographics of the south lately compared to San Francisco. There are realities about human nature that need to be addressed if you actually want to position yourself as any kind of problem solver (however you plan or desire to contribute).
