Actually, yes if you look at the current field.

So voting for another dinosaur is the answer? Everyone but the yuppies (you) has lost faith in that **** so the only option going forward is lefting up. This play it safe and don't show the right your leftist power level garbage is dead. The baby boomers just don't know it yet.

What do you recommend? Put up or shut up. And I'm not talking about a wishful thinking kind of vote. Someone who actually stands a chance of screwing in Lincoln's bed.

1. Biden will lose. No one cares about Biden. He doesn't even have Clinton's name recognition value. He's just Obama's butler. The only people who will bother with him are yuppies and dimwits who can't get it out of their heads that centrists are the only ones who people will listen to.

2. With each election centrist Democrats will become less and less relevant as people realize more and more just how little they care about centrists. You're fighting the previous war and it is why you will lose.

So who has a chance of dumping Trump?

My gut tells me Yang is the only one who could bring enough to the table as a nominee to win against Trump in the long run. Partly because even Fox News doesn't hate him, and partly because Trump would have a lot of trouble challenging his ideas and the way that he presents his ideas. Yang would also divide the Alt-right, since a lot of independents would swing to Yang for the promise of something like UBI.

Bernie is an okay 2nd choice, but I think he's ultimately ineffectual and viewed as weak by everyone except people like elph, and he's not technical at all.

Howard Shultz would be a better centrist candidate than Biden, at least if you wanted to run someone against the GOP who was like Trump but without the moral hiccups, crassness, goofiness and with a better business track record.

But again: Yang is literally the only Dem candidate I've seen get any real traction online amongst more than one demographic. Pete Butthead and Beto don't bring much to the table as far as I can see either, and their websites are scant on policy. Trump's entire movement started from his memeability and simple branding. Yang has a similar quality....so my instincts tell me he's the best bet once he gets more steam in the debates in June.

Sanders is the only person with the recognition and momentum to touch Trump. But I still say he goes down. Your boy's dead meat though.

He won't even get the nomination. I think the Democratic Party will almost certainly end up going with a more mainstream candidate.

Looking at the current contenders, I think Biden vs. Trump would be more likely.

I think last time it was established that even if he wins the nomination by a democratic process the “super delegates” will do whatever they want because they can because, well, they’re super.
