But I can totally believe that he raped his wife and yanked her hair out and the morning after asked "Does it hurt?" That's absolutely the Trump I can picture: a sociopathic adolescent in the body of an adult. But one who whines about losing? It fits, but it doesn't fit.

I think what you said that it’s unimaginable is profound

I still doubt that he really said that

It's not that I doubt that he said it, cause I can believe that deep down he is a scared child, but having not seen that side of him explicitly expressed it is meaningless. He projects strength to an extent that strength is all that can be truly imagined. Anything else is inferred no matter how likely.

And this really is why he won the election. No matter what any of his supporters claim about their support for his policies they're in love with his projection because it feels like what a leader should project and with so many decades of leaders who can't project that strongman strength they are hungry for someone who can.

Even the moderate supporters like it. They take it seriously simply because moderates refuse to believe that their government is weak and pointless because that would mean that their status quo really is a paper tiger. And that they can not accept.

You’re killing it tonight

The Batlord 04-18-2019 07:47 PM

They say follow the money but I say follow the fear. People are scared of their government's weakness and will rally around anyone who makes them feel less scared. Even money can be overcome by fear because the populace doesn't know about the money trail and perception is more important than facts, including money facts.

**** Bats you’re on a roll tonight. You high or something?

The Batlord 04-18-2019 08:00 PM

Even better. I'm drunk.

I'm getting there. Got these left over tall boys of Lime Pils and I ask my boss what to do with em. He tells me to take them. I can't let my boss down. I have to drink them tonight as fast as possible or I'll be fired.
