Great. Just hold Islam to the same standard, please.

The issue is prominent because of the size of the church. That's why people shouldn't provide the church with the social currency of membership. Your point here is moot.

There's a difference between being a Catholic and being an active member of the Catholic church.

Edit: Even then, there's a strong push back because Catholics are raving about how they won't let the corruption scare them out of their church or their faith.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

The point is you’re too PC to say the same thing about Islam. Or just Shiites or Sunis or whatever petty distinction about sects or denominations you’re making a fool out of yourself by clinging to.

Dude. The belief that heaven can only be obtained through a connection to the church is literally what makes someone a Catholic. If you're a Catholic, then you support the Catholic church, whether you go to every service or not.

I hold everybody to the same simple standard, regardless of their background; if you suck and are uncool, then I don't like you.

And since belief in Islam doesn't mean an intrinsic belief in Wahabbist extremism, comparing it to inseperability of Catholicism and the Catholic church is a weird false equivalency. But I can't bring myself to give enough of a **** about any religion to defend it, so bleh. Whatever.

I mean we've already well gone over how closely intertwined those are, but I guess you could say that being an active member of the church is a more aggressive form of supporting paedophilia than declaring yourself a Catholic, sure.

Add PC to the dismissal bucket.

Every Muslim who aligns themselves with Wahhabism in any way has blood on their hands. The hundreds of other sects can have problems with sexism and justice, but nothing in the way of terrorism.
