What kind of option is that? If I say you have the option of working in my gold mine for no pay for 18 hours a day and I'll feed you gruel twice a day and flog you if you don't work as hard as I want but hey here's a gun with one bullet so if you don't like it you have the option of killing yourself, is that a reasonable choice that amounts to consent if you're too terrified to kill yourself?

Did you actually read the article? I agree with his sentiment but would feel like a cock for doing the same to my mother since I don't imagine she'd laugh it off.

No, and I'm not going to read the article either. Mainly, the premise is just stupid enough that I think he should be scrubbed from the gene pool. Not that I really mean that, but I can be allowed to post in an abrasive style for the hell of it now and then, right?

I mean if you're just reacting to the title then you might as well be a conservative rolling their eyes at NPR boycotting "Baby, It's Cold Outside" without trying to figure out why.
