I'd like to think that if the actual president gets impeached that his vice pres who nobody ever gave half a **** about would have the power of a bath toy cause who ****ing cares?

windsock 01-25-2019 08:26 PM

It really isn't tho

The Batlord 01-25-2019 08:31 PM

nah it is. i know libertarians have an illusion that actual libertarians are what their party is about but guess who the base for your party is. it's rednecks, evangelicals, and fox news fans. nothing about what you care about is on the agenda. only what they care about.

Frownland 01-25-2019 08:31 PM

A civil war certainly would be exciting.

I mean the party has crossover definitely but that's obviously because of some shared values. Most conservatives view libertarians as pot-smoking fence sitters so idk where this asspull about them being Fox News fans came from.

No, you're thinking of the Tea Party.

Libertarians are generally fiscally conservative and socially liberal.

supporting legalization of The Ganja still just makes them higher conservatives

and then when you get to what most proclaimed libertarians think about immigration.... well I won't even

Libertariants want as small of a government as possible. You are 100% wrong.

The actual pot-smoking fence sitters makes for a very small portion of libertarians. The vast vast majority of them are just republicans who don't care enough about social issues to make an issue out of it even though they definitely still lean social right wing. Oh yeah and there are also a certain number of early 20 something libertarians who are at most five years from aging out of the party that they were really only a part of in a casual sense.

What does that mean? If you're talking the government power structure, Libertarians are dancing jigs during this shutdown. They've always railed against big government and intervention therein. Reform is like a top priority so idk what you're on about there.
