I was just listening to NPR in my car (I have no idea why) and they were about to go into a story about "unbreakable guitar strings." I was intrigued by that story but I couldn't get the chance to finish listening to it.

I can't imagine how grimy those strings would be after about a year.

A friend gave me the tip to spray WD40 on the strings and then wipe them off to prevent that.

idk if it's true but ive been doing it ever since then and i noticed it does help a little.

Spoiler for Parenting FAIL:

I may have a heartless misogynist rep around here but i have a 4 old daughter who i luv with all my heart and want to raise right and seeing this baby suffer through this makes me wanna seriously harm that woman.

How can she do that to her own son?

This is the kind of stoner behavior that makes other stoners look bad,
i smoke weed BUT I HAVE NEVER even for a single second thought of doing something like this to her much less post it proudly on FB

but that's not my real problem, my real problem is with the parenting issue

I couldn't even begin to tell you how much fucked up stuff I've seen happen to kids in my line of work. It's nauseating.

this is a weird one, apparently this mummified girl who has been dead for a like a 100 hundred yrs now, everyday opens and shuts here eyes..

Rosalia Lombardo: The Child Mummy

i originally found the article in spanish which went into more detail and there is actually a scientific explanation for this phenomenon

apparently something about the flash of the camera combined with the humidity around her causes this to happen.
idk if that's true but that's the scientific explanation they came up with
