They have money. They're not playing volley ball with rolled up socks. And whether or not it should be a business it is. Besides, unfair or not public schools have little enough money as it is so I have no problem with them pushing men's sports over women's sports if it gives them the ability to spend it on academics.

Blocks of flats which have been part of Glasgow's skyline for almost 50 years will be blown up as part of the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony.

Can't afford a proper fireworks display for their opening ceremony, so are going to blow up some tower blocks instead.

Some interesting stories I've heard from fellow Saudis who work there on business during the week:

1. Saudi women will ride a taxi without money to pay the fare. On arrival at their destination, they will offer the driver a squeeze of their tits instead of cash payment. For those that refuse and demand cash payment for the fare, they threaten to report the driver to the police for sexual harassment.

2. Women will get off on walking through a crowded group of men, and brushing up on them. They will try to discreetly swap numbers with a man that they like, so that a secret shag can be arranged.

3. In the coffee shops, they use Bluetooth as a primitive form of 'Tinder', swapping photos with each other. Once two people take a shine to one another, they will arrange a secret shag. The lad is going to have to brave it without seeing the bird until the abaya comes off .

4. The western embassies apparently turn into nightclubs in the evenings, where you can get all kinds of booze, drugs or women, for the right price.

A completely hypocritical and fucked up nation. To be avoided like the plague.
