^ My guess is that celebrity-bashing is a lot more entertaining than talking about how the Republicans are undermining American democracy at the roots by effectively disenfranchising social groups who are likely to vote Dem.
They've introduced a raft of voter ID laws across the states that have a discriminatory effect - notably in North Dakota, where they are trying to exclude Native Americans who (as per life on a "reservation" ) do not have a street address. That's the real Native American story, not EWarren.
Plus gerrymandering, plus this:-

Kemp is blocking voters' rights on a bureaucratic technicality while simultaneously running as a candidate in the electorial fight. Has anyone ever seen a boxing match in which one of the boxers is also the referee? It's so obviously unfair as far as I can see. It's a blatant disruption of the democratic process, but because it's to the Republicans' advantage, there isn't a single check or balance that's stopping it - all the checks and balances are now in the hands of the Republicans.
