I still think populism is what contemporary fascism is called even as you define fascism

Trump's not up for re-election this year.

But you go ahead and have faith in partisan moral consistency.

No, but the GOP is.

And maybe quit the snark for once in your ****ing life? Never mind. You wouldn't be able to handle life without it.

Ah, so they're gonna stick it to em! I admire your faith, Chula.

Take that as a no.

Yeah because populism in any context will always at least incorporate elements of fascism. Even populist socialism won't be able to succeed without populist fascist ideas. This is why the idea of socialism must be global, or else it's just fascism in disguise. I guess. I'm not a student of Chomsky but it seems reasonable to me that appealing to any kind of local sentiment must be nationalistic.

Edward O Wilson approaches it through Chomsky’s revolutionary theory in linguistics. Wilson explains the evolutionary changes that would have to take place and why it’s not totally impossible. While he’s at it he Wilson offers an alternative to Dawkins Selfish Gene theory.

It’s basically a matter of people who are predisposed to a certain manner of doing things being the ones that breed.

So... anarchist fascism? I'm curious about a book you'd recommend.

TBH I'm feeling like an ******* for not reading Chomsky these days though so I gotta read some of that too. I'm feeling political in a way I haven't since I discarded libertarianism years ago and started avoiding politics as a matter of course. It's hard to completely lose faith in a political ideology and still have faith in your ability to interpret politics.
