I guess I’m overly pessimistic.

I wonder if they gave those kids a Valium or anything like that so they wouldn’t freak out in the dark and start kicking and ****.

Gritty rescue. Especially after the one man died. Courageous to say the least.
I thought it was going to be a lot worse too. Boys at that age are typically pretty fearless (not fearless persay but like, unconcerned with consequences). I think that if it were a group of adults then the possibility of some of them freaking out would be a lot higher.

Genuinely stoked to hear the news of the kids in the cave. I was actually leaning towards the worst happening as well. What a crazy turnaround.

Good call on the Valium. They most likely did on the advice of the doctor who was in the cave. Probably knocked them out pretty hard so they'd be really pliable in the tight places.

Again, the more you read, the more amazing the story becomes.

The amazing amount of cooperation it took as well. They made a plan or someone made a plan and they did it. Did they retrieve the body of the diver who died?

Dude was retired and didn't have to be there.

Hate that guy ever since he made a big stink about having to offer his employees health benefits. Analysts figured he could raise his prices $0.07 a pie and it would cover the cost but he threw a hissy fit anyway.

Dude's house BTW.
