Quite the opposite. I have more sympathy for those that voted for someone that didn't win and less sympathy for those that didn't bother to vote. By refusing to make the world ****tier, you've basically done that exact thing.

See what I mean?

These nannies and their attempts to guilt trip.

I'm just being facetious.

Frownland 07-06-2018 09:42 AM

Do you know what that word means?

Doesn't it suck that this is equated with directly voting for Trump?

I feel sorry for people who are so stupid they think 0=1.

It’s the difference between being able to think and being able to understand what you’ve been told to think.

You do realize there's nothing responsible or ethical with doing nothing.

Frownland 07-06-2018 09:53 AM

inb4 that dumbass Ayn Rand-fellating Rush lyric.

Even though I was slightly joking before, I don't disagree here. I won't say that people who didn't vote are entirely responsible but they are at least not allowed to complain about the outcome if they didn't do anything to avoid it. That's my thought anyway.

If you feel that you're voting for evil then maybe you should do something other than vote. Voting is such an infinitesimally insignificant thing to do that for people to think that it somehow means they've done something constructive is both delusional and narcissistic. You put in the minimum amount of effort in a situation that you must recognize requires more than that and then you consider yourself better than Frown, Dwn, OH, and me? Get ****ed. Do something more or accept that you are doing so little as to constitute doing nothing. Write your ****ing congressman or stump for Bernie or maybe even join a militant radical party of nutbars. Anything. You don't get credit for buying into the nonsense that your vote matters just so you can spend the other 99.999999% of your life twiddling your thumbs with a clear conscience.
