Im curious how someone in your field determines if a publication is scholarly. In science we can be critical of how studies are conducted and peer review/consistent reaults helps determine credability. In politics and to a lesser extent economics it just seems to be an appeal to the authority of the author since its mostly opinion based.

But the constant redundant brow beating cost her badly once Trump coined "crooked Hillary" and his minions adopted it.

First person to reply while creatively using the word "swamp" wins a cookie.
She also was one of the lawyers at the House Nixon Impeachment Hearings.

Is it hot? It feels like a swamp in here.

Now that I know that Ant is in his twenties, the arguments with elph are even funnier to read.

^ If you'd said "America" instead of "my life", then there would've been a very long list indeed.

I guess. But I’ve also found that when I live through things the way they’re sold in the media aren’t really the way they are.

3 Strike Felony Laws were championed by Bill and Hillary. These hurt me directly because I had to deal with several children everyday who were traumatized by these laws when their families were ripped apart. I agree it’s horrible what’s happening at our border but I spent ten ****ing years dealing with the same problem in the African-American community.

No Child Left Behind had devastating effects on me as a teacher. It crushed the profession like a wrecking ball. Obama and Hillary were all about that Common Core ****. Six ****ing weeks of testing middle schoolers with threats of criminal prosecution if things go wrong. For ****ing middle school.

Obamacare- instead of a tax return I got a bill for my shared responsibility even though I had been unemployed for six months. Way to help the common man. I mean, **** you Obama.

I don’t ****ing vote. But this **** about I should’ve voted for Hillary. Dafuq? She’s been kicking me in the ****ing balls for a decade. Like I’d vote for that rich bitch Wall Street crooked ****. No. **** no.

Yeah, Bill Clinton did some things that made Reagan look like Bernie Sanders. He had a knack of going with popular sentiment just to get re-elected (I think I noted somewhere that I am not a Populist, left or right). Still, sometimes (well, sadly, most of the time) you have to vote for the lesser of the two evils. Believe me, I was holding my nose in the General Election when I voted for Hillary.
