Trump is boasting that if he were convicted of collusion and other crimes that might lead to impeachment, he'll simply pardon himself.

These are the dudes to blame in the end.

Like I said, I don't get the mentality.

Yep. Awarding corruption by acting in a reactionary way to other brands of corruption is not going to be a path I take though.

**** gets done unevenly and ineffectively because many of the platforms that politicians run on (like immigration or healthcare) are not issues that they actually want to solve because they drive people to the polls.

I really don't care about what he says until he does it tbh. He shouts crazy **** because he knows it'll take the spotlight off of his policy if people get wrapped up in silly hypotheticals.

Definitely, they made a short-sighted system that devolved into an oligarchy.

Supporting a politician would matter a lot to me because it would mean that I've abandoned my morals. I think I'll pass.

If it makes it easier to understand, I can soften my stance by saying that voting for politicians is only reprehensible when you're voting for one of the two US party monoliths. Also, it's actually just one monolith.

Fair enough. I actually do get your point of view. I guess, unfortunately, I'm a bit more vested into our **** system.

Thumbs up

I think we just made MB history by having a civil disagreement.

I like this better. We're really close proximity-wise man. It's gonna happen. Beers and burgers.

This border thing is nice to rile up Trump hate but whoever else you vote for is going to do plenty that out nasties this. This has become a disportionate cause célèbre.

I agree it’s horrible but we’ve been destroying families for no good reason forever.

I’ve worked with dozens, maybe even hundreds of children, whose mothers and fathers were locked up for non-violent drug offenses and tickytack parole/probation violations. I’ve watched students google mugshots so they could share with their classmates pictures of their parents. And the border kids are eating square meals and playing soccer. I’m not saying it’s not wrong but alternative candidates (the Clintons) led the charge that decimated millions of mostly black families. And many of these kids are left malnourished.
