Remember that racist minister I mentioned who resigned earlier this week? This is her replacement. Hitting an asylum seeker is not the only thing he has done - he has been caught driving 100km/h in a 60km/h zone (which is obviously illegal), spread debunked myths about Pakistanis and Somalis being criminals and having a lot of kids, spoken in Parliament while visibly drunk...

The legislation funds the federal government for the remainder of the 2018 budget year, through Sept. 30, directing $700 billion toward the military and $591 billion to domestic agencies. The military spending is a $66 billion increase over the 2017 level, and the nondefense spending is $52 billion more than last year.

Just watching the News Hour, the next National Security Advisor, John Bolton, is very hawkish and advocated first strikes against Iran and N. Korea. I predict that America will use nuclear weapons over the next few months. Besides closing military bases and applying sanctions I’m not sure how the world will react or if WWIII can be avoided.
