Dude that’s exactly what I thought when I first saw that story.

Oh Cambridge Analytica looked at people's **** and targeted them.

To people acting surprised: How the **** did you think Facebook was making money?

If you use Facebook and this bothers you lol X 1000000

This news story is like saying boxers are actually hitting each other. Un-****ing-real.

That's basically it. Facebook is a free service, yet it operates for profit. How does it make money? Two ways: by selling your personal information (which you share) to government agencies and private companies, and selling advertisement space. It's a billion dollar industry.
