Really? Their prices are undercut by a good deal of the market. Overhead is in fact real, but on the customer's end, all that matters is the price point and the quality of what they're paying for.

I get that for some businesses but this is a brand new legal business model where the alternative is illegal purchasing through pretty shady people sometimes. I don't blame them for making a profit while also getting taxed out the ass. From what I know about California dispensary businesses, the license alone to sell is insanely expensive. I'd bet these new dispensaries aren't pulling in actual yearly profits for a few years at least. They also have the constant threat of shut down at a federal level. Dispensaries making money isn't something I'm even close to worrying about.

I'm also an idiot for not getting that joke.

I don't blame them either, but I'm not about to be their customer because the price is whack.

Say, does anyone remember a few years ago when I was talking about corporate legislative influence in an environment with legal weed and how it would go after traditional drug dealers in order to establish a monopoly that reduces quality and drives up prices?

My $50 for an 1/8th price was a typo. That's the typical price for a 1/4 ounce.

An 1/8th is usually $25 to $30 at the most.
