Ah, so blatant lying of the type which MHDTV does in the last post of his isn't at all relevant?

He did write his memoirs of the second world war, which is the book you may have been referring to?
It's an abridged version of the 6 volumes, 'Bill Gets High Sometimes', mentioned.

I deleted the posts because I didn't see the point of arguing over a book you may, or may not have read.

Up till then it was a decent discussion.

I know, I don't mind. By the way I did read it and I have proof that it exists if anyone's interested.

That was in response to MHDTV, I posted that before Voice of the Soul posted.

I honestly don't see how Saddam was a threat to our power.

Invading North Korea would have been stupid. If they had nuclear weapons they would have used them as soon as we invaded, and then the world would have ended.
We have a larger nuclear arsenal. Unless North Korea has weapons with range long enough to hit DC, we would win.

Would lives be lost? Most definitely, but such is the price of war.

You'd make one badass commando.

No way. I'd be the first to die. I'm weak.

Everyone loses in a nuclear war.

No one wins in a nuclear war.

If North Korea knew they were about to get wasted, they would launch their nukes at whoever they could (I don't think they're on friendly terms with Japan), starting a chain reaction that would turn the earth into one giant parking lot.

But it would be a pointless war. I don't think North Korea would start a war unprovoked, so we don't need to "neutralize" them. I'm pretty sure Kim Jong Il likes America a lot more than he lets on. I see North Korea becoming like China (they hated America and capitalism, now they're our second largest source of imports and they themselves are very capitalist).

To keep this on topic, everything I said above could be put into the context of Iraq for justification fof why we shouldn't have invaded. Obviously they didn't have nuclear weapons, but they wouldn't have used any military force against us (also because Saddam most likely would have realized he was no match for our military).
