^ Hank is definitely my favorite (although I will say I like both Sr. and Jr.). Ca$h goes without saying {okay, so maybe Hank isnt my alltime favorite}.

Have you heard Mojo & Jello Biafra recordings? Of course you have. The stuff is HOT.

Oh yeah, and I like Steve Earle. "Hillbilly Highway"... ah yeah.

Hell yes, Jello and Mojo were great, one of the better things Jello did after DK. Are You Drinkin' With Me Jesus is great, good job.

"Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song" was done by B.J. Thomas, to answer the question earlier in this thread. He's probably better known for doing "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head"

As far as my favorite, I've always been partial to "Behind Closed Doors" by Charlie Rich.

On a side note, I'm new here, so I'd like to ask...is it common around here for people to come into a thread with no other purpose except to say 'this sucks', or 'I hate that' or 'who cares'? What is the point, other than to make yourself look foolish?

I mean, if you don't care for something, wouldn't it be more mature to just leave it alone? Just asking.

When I was a little kid I actually used to hate country because I grew up in a really redneck town where country was EVERYWHERE. But the older I got, my musical taste started to vary...I pretty much like all music!=) Here's a few of my country favorites...

She's in Love With the Boy--Trisha Yearwood
A Country Boy Can Survive--Hank Williams Jr.
Meet In the Middle--Diamond Rio
She'll Leave You With a Smile--George Strait
If Tomorrow Never Comes--Garth Brooks
Nobody Knows It But Me--Kevin Sharp
Almost Home--Craig Morgan
Remember When--Alan Jackson
I'm Movin On--Rascal Flats
Whiskey Lullaby--Brad Paisley & Allison Kraus

and of course...Chattahoochee by Alan Jackson LoL

And for all the people that hate country..try gettin reeeeaaaalllly drunk one night while in a sad mood. Then try listening to Whiskey Lullaby or If Tomorrow Never Comes. One of the best things I like about country is how I can really relate to the songs sometimes...
