i am looking for a song for my father and i (country, dance)

i am new at this so i have no ideal what i am doing lol. i am been trying to find a country song for my father and i for about a month now. we perfer the older country. we would like to find a song that is saying he is giving his daughter away, how is little girl use to be a tomboy but now a lady. i found a perfect song by jimmy dean sleeping beauty but the thing is he just talks he doesnt sing and i dont know if u really can dance to somthing like that. if anyone has any sejection please reply to me.
